I'm the “fun adult” behind Happy Hearts Playcare!

I’ve always had a heart for kids and community. As a preacher’s kid, I grew up with a unique perspective on people, service, and faith — all of which shaped who I am today. After a devastating loss during childbirth last year that nearly took both my daughter and me, God has carried my husband and me through deep healing, rebuilding our marriage, and reshaping our path. This season taught me how to be the wife I was intended to be, and now, how to move forward with purpose.

One day not too long ago, I passed a “For Rent” sign in Cedar Point and felt an undeniable pull from God. Every bump in the road since pulling into that parking lot and calling the number has been met with divine intervention, leading us here — to a place where I can fill a real need in our community with flexible, sensory-friendly childcare that supports real families in real life.

Over the years, I’ve worked with children of all ages and abilities — from supporting military families to helping moms of children with special needs feel seen and supported. I’ve always found joy in creating fun, safe spaces for kids to just be kids — and for parents to feel a sense of peace knowing they’re not alone.

One of the things closest to my heart at Happy Hearts is our Date Night Package. As someone whose marriage was deeply impacted by the principles in The Empowered Wife by Laura Doyle, I’ve seen firsthand how intentional time, respect, and soft connection can bring restoration and joy to a relationship. I know how difficult it can be for moms and wives to find space for themselves — especially in hard seasons when every part of life feels overwhelming. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to make time for yourself or your marriage — and the truth is, you shouldn't have to do it alone.

That’s why I’m passionate about offering daytime care that gives moms breathing room, and evening date night options that make meaningful connection possible — not just once in a while, but regularly.
Because in the hard seasons especially, you deserve to catch your breath — and your marriage deserves to thrive.

And for what it’s worth — yes, I absolutely live for chaos. Loud laughs, messy art tables, silly dance parties — that’s my zone. Happy Hearts was made for kids to be wild, creative, and completely themselves — and for parents to breathe easier knowing someone gets it.

Happy Hearts is more than a playcare — it’s a calling. And I’m so grateful to welcome your family into it.
